Flower radiates 1080p all over it; colourful and artistic.
Using the sixaxis, you control a flower petal which floats along the wind and bloom every flower you see by flying across it. This reveals more flowers and more colour into your world and with a press of a button, any button, you can ride a gush of wind which accelerates you through the open field.
Flower brings the background of many games into the foreground, where you concentrate on the environment. Your world is dark and as you open more flowers, colour blossoms across the area and by opening all of the flowers, you encapsulate a field of vibrant colour.

Without using complex detailed textures, simple objects and shapes for rocks, mountains, grass blades, are used, with simple colours to portray the object. Very little texture mapping is involved. But the highlight is again the vibrant colours. As you ride the wind through the grass and flowers, they will bend and twirl along and as you open more flowers, your stream petals grows and lenghtens; take a look back and immerse yourself in the beauty of colours as they swirl around your tail and path.

Soft melodic plays in the background as you go through the stages and as you touch each flower, they play a note of an instrument. Through a succession of hits, you gain a front music which blend in with the back music. This provides a harmonic rhythm and or a strong clash of symbols to emphasise certain parts of the game.

With what it provides, there is nothing wrong with it. Controls work perfectly as you lift them up and down, twist left and right, your leading petal reacts with precision. The only lack luster is that Flower is only 6 stages long, and each stage ranges around 10 minutes or less of play. The only thing to keep you coming back is to either for relaxation, or unlocking some of the trophies, requiring you to explore a little more.

The story doesn't play a large role, but mainly of going through the seasons and emotions of how we feel, from gloomy to cheery. Overall, Flower is a great way for people to take time out, relax, and just surround themselves within a beautiful atmosphere filled with colour and melody.
