Around last week we went to the Welfare Square for a tour of what the Church does with regards to humanitarian aid. On Sunday we went to Temple Square again to do more touring, and on Tuesday we went snowmobiling.

We will be snowshoeing this Saturday.

I hadn't taken any photos at Welfare Square but will next time, but on Sunday, we toured the South Visitor's Centre, Assembly Hall, and Conference Centre.

Before the tour, we went into the Tabernacle Building to listen to the choir sing while watching them get recorded for their world wide broadcast.

On our way out, there was a smaller choir consisting of sister missionaries who sang also.

We then went to the South Visitor's Centre which contained information regarding families and construction in the past days. One thing I forgot to mention last time was our tour in the North Visitors which contained information about our faith.

We then went to the Assembly Hall which was where they used to hold their conferences and meetings.

Assembly Hall

It has not been moved to the Tabernacle Building and when a large audience is estimated to appear, it is taken into the Conference Centre which sits 21,000 people underground. The centre is also considered one of the safer places during earth quakes due to its structure.
