Now for the intense stuff.
For young men, we played a game where you have three bases, thus three teams, and five balls in the middle. The object of the game is to outrun and outwit the opposing team. You can only carry one ball at a time and you need to get three balls back to you base. Once at base, put the ball there and you have to go for the next one, causing consistant running.
We found ourselves bolting from one corner to the other to try and get the upper-hand, winning 2 of 3 games.
Because I have a slightly lower blood pressure level than other people, I went dizzy for a little while because it had been such a long time since I had to consistant sprint like that.
Once that was over, we did capture the flag. Each team hid a ball somewhere and the other team would have to find it and bring it back to base. While on your half of the playing field, you're safe, but once on the other side, you can get tagged out. You have to go back to your base line to 'reset' before you can carry on in again.
This caused constant running back and forth while trying to figure out where the ball was hidden at the same time.
We lost both rounds unfortunately.
Well, young men finished and we had some McDonalds.
Got home and my friend Rohan called; we're going swimming in Geelong again tonight.
Intense night indeed.
