On Monday I went out for a BBQ lunch the missionaries wanted to hold for fellowshipping with members and investigaters, and get rid of some spare food they had in the fridge.
Later that night I went out for a swim.
I don't know exactly where we were but it was next to the Victoria Gardens down by the Yarra River.
There are BBQ grills along walkways for people who want to hang out under a lot of trees and shade, and look at the river and arena, to which I'm unsure which one it is.
Not only is it good for BBQs, but for people who want to relax and enjoy a nice read also, or conversation.
But we had out BBQ with the group, and a small lesson about Easter and the Atonement.
Markus and I decided to go to the beach since it was a nice warm day, but with all the mucking about, it got a little dark and cooler. Markus also invited Rohan also and the three of us went down to the beach in Williamstown.
Unfortunately Markus forgot to tell Rohan that we were going to the beach for a swim so he didn't bring any change with him. We had a spiritual thought by Markus and a small discussion, then in the water we went.
Markus took his quick dip then had to go home as he had an early tomorrow for work.
Myself and Rohan decided to go back to Werribee to pick up his change of clothes and head to the beach there. There was some strange sludge and we didn't know what they were doing to the beach, so the next best bet, rather than a beach, we went to the swimming pool next to the Geelong Eastern Beach.
We had a good swim, freeze, and packed for home.
The only picture I got, as it was night time before by the time we did anything, was of the Geelong Eastern Beach we were at, though it doesn't look as good as if you were there in person.
