Bits & Pieces

Busy week

Just a quickie again but just been a long week sort of with friends of a friend visiting Melbourne and me being the taxi. Good fun really, driving around, nevertheless.

One came last Thursday and was only dropping by through Melbourne for a couple of nights or so and thus my friend caught up with them and I was the taxi. We did a bit of shopping at DFO, Direct Factory Outlet, as there wasn't much to do unfortunately during daytime Melbourne, let alone within Melbourne itself. She left on Friday.

Yesterday, similar thing where they were passing by Melbourne, a few unfortunate events and she ends up with us, and once again I'm the taxi. Did a bit of shopping also or looking around at the very least, and she went up to Brisbane this afternoon.

Really nice to meet them and chit chat with them but seriously, as I said:

"Is it really that fun walking around aimlessly... in hope to find something that may be on bargain?"

Sorry, I'm just the in and out kind of guy when it comes to shopping and still learning the concept of bargainning; I have much to learn.

Hello once again

Long has it been since I last wrote here but much has happened; I'll be brief on it all this time.

Commonwealth Bank declined my application for an online merchant account because I was running a 'new business', but I'm still working hard for it.

Stephen taught us how to make Bunny Chow and a very simple, yet delectable, chocolate cake to which we have no known name for one Tuesday night for Young Men and we played a bit of Buzz! Quiz TV. I didn't decorate my cake when I made it at home for Mother's Day so it's really just a block of white whip cream, but inside is filled with delicious secrets. Here's a picture I found of bunny chow though for those interested:

A lot of driving around and errands running.

And we had a dance on Friday with a farm theme. It was great fun with the live band and the step dancing and such; it really got the YSA (Young Single Adults) active, or at least half of them but nevertheless better than the usual.

Other than that, just working on the business in developing the pages and looking for some part-time work.

Who's interested in sponsoring me overseas?

BBQ Lunch

On Monday I went out for a BBQ lunch the missionaries wanted to hold for fellowshipping with members and investigaters, and get rid of some spare food they had in the fridge.

Later that night I went out for a swim.

Some new changes

Well, not much has happened other than a few more articles I have in mind of writing for the LDS section and a Nationite OS-43 review.

I have been spending most of my time during the last week finding some work but mainly working on Bits & Pieces - Pryon Computers.

I've finished registering it and hopefully Commonwealth Bank Australia will accept my application to run my business and everything should be relatively set.

It's been a long time

Well, it's been a while now and I should have some more reviews up soon; including Flower, Little Big Planet, Savage 2, and some products such as the Nationite OS-43, i-rocks IR-1110 Car DJ, and Griffin iTrip Auto.

Though these may be older games, it is still good practice for my writing skills and opinionations.

I also noticed that during my Killzone 2 review, I had some paragraphs pasted twice; fixed now.
